The Selangor State Weiqi (Go) Team Selection 2025 is the official state-level tournament organized to identify and nominate top Weiqi (Go) players to represent Selangor in 2026.

This event serves as a structured and transparent pathway for athlete selection under the Selangor Weiqi development system.

⚙️ Categories
– A: Primary School (Standard 1–3)
– B: Primary School (Standard 4–6)
– C: Secondary School
– D: Open Category

🧾 Eligibility
Participants must register under the corresponding state team based on either their residential address or current school location (choose one).
For this selection, only players from Selangor are eligible.

🏅 Awards & Recognition
1. Top 8 players in each category will be nominated for the Selangor State Weiqi (Go) Team Selection 2025.
Nomination does not guarantee selection; all nominees must attend a formal state team interview. Final confirmation will be based on evaluation results.
2. Top 8 players receive a trophy.
3. 9th–16th place players receive a medal.
4. Merit medals will be awarded in each category.
5. All participants receive a certificate of participation.
